The Bake-Well is a family run delicatessen and fresh food takeaway. Delicious homemade baking and savoury dishes made daily in a small, but beautiful shop in the heart of Wensleydale.
Quiches, soups, sausage rolls, pies, to name a few are baked fresh every morning. Our lovely wooden counter is always full of homemade goodies! A range of traybakes, muffins, scones, cakes all made on the premises.
Partners, Bridie and Craig (soon to be married), opened The Bake-Well's doors on the 5th January 2020. Craig is from Teesside and as a trained chef, originally came to Askrigg to work at The King's Arms - just two doors up in Askrigg. Bridie has grown up in Askrigg and has always enjoyed working in hospitality, having worked in various establishments throughout the Dales. They had both always wanted to open their own business, so when the opportunity arose in September 2019, the couple thought why not give it a go!
